"Window Garda" is located in Pieve di Tremosine in a very particular position, at 423 meters above sea level, on the north-west shore of Lake Garda, between Limone and Gargnano, in the highest part of a cliff.DESCRIPTION:
The residential complex is made up of several buildings, arranged on two lines at two different heights that follow the natural conformation of the place and its slopes. The development involves the recovery of what has already been built for a gross floor area of 2100 square meters, on which 31 residential units will be built. Each unit will have a private outdoor space, consisting of a balcony, loggia or garden, from which to enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake. The complex will have common services, such as a swimming pool and relaxation areas, as well as parking spaces for each unit. The project to transform the existing from an architectural and landscape point of view takes place through some specific interventions, such as the replacement of part of the existing tiled roofs with practicable flat roofs that break up the existing continuous front, the use of different colors and types of plaster to distinguish the bodies and enliven the complex. Finally, the creation of wooden pergolas that shade the facade in the summer months and, in addition to reducing the thermal load in terms of energy consumption, attenuate the reading of the vertical walls, creating an eco and contemporary character.
